RepuRate Begins External Alpha: Opening the Doors to Early Testers
Nov. 25, 2025, 8:59 p.m.
RepuRate is now opening the Alpha to a wider circle of early testers. This milestone marks our first step toward building a public, verifiable reputation layer that works across any marketplace or peer-to-peer exchange.
Today we’re excited to announce that RepuRate is expanding from internal development testing to our first wave of external Alpha users. This marks a major milestone in bringing verified, cross-platform reputation to buyers and sellers who rely on peer-to-peer exchanges across dozens of apps and marketplaces.
Why We’re Opening the Alpha
Over the past several months, we’ve been refining the transaction flow, scoring engine, and core safety features behind RepuRate. Internal testing gave us confidence in the foundation, but real-world use cases are where the system begins to mature. By inviting a broader group into the Alpha, we gain visibility into edge cases, friction points, and the actual behavior patterns that shape trust online.
Who’s Included in the Alpha Wave
This phase includes a hand-selected group of early adopters who routinely complete real transactions—buyers, sellers, hobby traders, collectors, and small side-hustle operators. These users represent our earliest “trust archetypes,” helping us understand how different types of people approach verification, proof, and rating.
Casual marketplace sellers
Local meet-up buyers
Collectors and specialty item traders
Gig and side-hustle service providers
Repeat-transaction users who rely heavily on reputation
What We’re Measuring During This Phase
As part of the Alpha expansion, we’re closely monitoring several key interaction points to understand how to improve usability and trust accuracy:
Invite acceptance speed and completion rate
Frequency and usefulness of proof uploads
Clarity of the two-way rating flow
Patterns of reliable vs. unreliable counterparties
Confidence changes before and after a verified transaction
What’s Next
The insights from this external Alpha will directly shape the Beta version, including improved scoring logic, refined flows, enhanced UI clarity, and stronger fraud-detection signals. Our goal is to ensure that by the time we reach open Beta, RepuRate feels intuitive, fast, and dependable for anyone completing a real-world exchange.
Thank you to everyone participating in this early phase. Your feedback, usage patterns, and real-life transactions are helping us build the most trustworthy peer-to-peer reputation layer possible.
